Yes, we offer a 12-month guarantee on all products. Some of our manufacturers offer a 2-5 year guarantee on certain products – when this is the case it is usually noted on the description page.

Do you supply to the trade?

Are light bulbs included with the light fittings?
As a general rule, no. However, a few manufacturers do still include them – when this is the case we usually state as much on the product page. Please check out the light bulbs section of our website
for all your light bulb requirements – we have a pretty incredible selection. Helpful hint: most light fittings on our website will display the light bulbs they need right next to the product.
Which payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, plus PayPal and Bank Transfer.

Does the KES website offer secure shopping?
Yes – we take security very seriously. We partner with the leading player in the online payment industry to ensure that your payments are 100% safe. Our payment gateway is Level 1 PCI DSS Secure, is a Visa Global Compliant partner and is on Mastercard's SDP list.
What are the different lighting zones in a bathroom?
This is one of our most commonly-asked questions – and rightly so: it is essential that you choose the correct bathroom fitting for the job. Fittings are deemed appropriate for different 'zones', as follows:
Zone 0 – this is inside the bath or shower itself. Any fitting in this zone must be low voltage (max 12v) and be at least IP67 rated, which means it is immersion-proof.
Zone 1 – the area above the bath, to a height of 2.25m from the floor. In this zone, a minimum rating of IP44 is required.
Zone 2 – an area stretching 0.6m outside the perimeter of the bath and to a height of 2.25 from the floor. In this zone, an IP rating of IP44 is required.
In accordance with advice from the Lighting Industry Association, the location above Zone 1 (over the bath or shower) up to a ceiling height of 3m continues to be classified as Zone 2. If in any doubt whatsoever, our advice is to always ask a qualified electrician.

Where can I find specifications about each fitting?
On each of the product pages for the light fittings that we sell, you will find detailed information about that light – this typically includes things like the light's dimensions, weight, lamp type, IP rating and more. My item is faulty. What should I do?
We need to be informed of any imperfections or damage to your order within 7 days of delivery. Regretfully, beyond that time, we will be unable to process your refund.
A basic inspection of goods should take place within 7 days of delivery to ensure:
- There are no obvious breakages
- There are no obvious physical faults or damages
- The goods you have received match your original order
In the unlikely event that you have an item which you believe to be faulty, you must first contact our team by email ([email protected]), quoting your order number and providing photographic evidence of the fault
The item must be returned to us for inspection using our postal address (detailed below).
Returns must be posted by courier only, with proof of postage receipt shared with us.
We will process your refund once your items have been received and inspected – this will take no longer than 14 days. As a security precaution, we are only able to refund the original method of payment.
